Winter Relief for Poor & Needy Families in Badaun On  6th January 2026 ,  Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha (JJSS)  successfully organized a  Blanket Distribution Drive in Badaun, Uttar Pradesh  under its  Winter Relief Initiative . The program aimed to support poor, homeless, and economically weaker families who struggle to survive during the extreme cold weather. Every year, harsh winters pose serious health risks for underprivileged communities. Keeping this in mind, JJSS distributed warm blankets to ensure protection, dignity, and comfort for those in need. Blanket Distribution Service Program by Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha – Lucknow

Spreading Warmth and Compassion During the Winter Season In view of the severe winter conditions, Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha organized a Blanket Distribution Service Program on 26 December 2025 at its Regional Office, Kalyanpur, Lucknow . The initiative was undertaken with the aim of providing relief from cold to poor, needy, and helpless elderly people who are most affected during the winter due to limited resources. Relief for the Needy A large number of beneficiaries participated in the program, during which blankets were distributed to those in need. This humanitarian effort brought visible relief and satisfaction to the recipients. For many, the blankets provided not only physical warmth but also emotional comfort and a sense of care and dignity. While many of us have food, shelter, and comfort, countless poor and helpless families struggle even for one proper meal. Staying warm in winter is a distant dream for them. For the past 20 years, Jeevan Jyoti Sewa Sanstha (JJSS) has been reaching out to such vulnerable families with blankets and essential winter aid—bringing warmth, safety, and hope to their lives. This has been possible only because of the heartfelt support of donors like you. This year, we have received requests from several districts and villages for urgent blanket support.
